The reality is: Data science is 90% data cleaning and manipulation. This means recoding and transforming your variables, as we learned last week, but it often also means joining several data sources and bringing them into different shape. This is exactly what you will learn today. You can be a crack at modeling and machine learning, but if you don’t know how to clean and manipulate data, you’re lost.
